  • September 8, 2007
Quote: I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly and competent. I needed to move to a handicapped room and they bent over backward to make it happen. The maid even helped me move my suitcases and other items very quickly.... Read the full Hotel Lawrence review

Memorable

Quote: Hotel Lawrence is strategically located nearest to the bus stop, dining (although just 3-4 blocks away, but I enjoyed walking there), and those JFK enthusiast coz this hotel is just two blocks opposite the spot.

Quote: We enjoyed our stay, the best part was the location. Close to everything downtown. We love to walk so we walked down the stairs everyday. There is only one small elevator so so we walked. The breakfast was great. We could have boiled eggs and... Read the full Hotel Lawrence review

Going as a couple

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 27, 2007
Quote: We originally had the standard room which is WAY to small for two people. Paying the extra money for a larger room is definately worth it. The shuttle and location were great and the staff helpful.

Unreliable Shuttle Service

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • November 24, 2006
Quote: I stayed here as a cheaper alternative to the conference hotel which was only 2 miles away. I thought the free shuttle service would be great but it was really unreliable. Most times I would wait 45 minutes to an hour for a pick up. Once they... Read the full Hotel Lawrence review

Great Staff

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • July 28, 2006
Quote: The hotel was nice, and the staff was VERY accomidation. However, the rooms looked bigger in the pictures than they actually were. Also, I did not like the AC units that adjusted the temperature up when you were not in the room.

Okay stay

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • July 17, 2006
Quote: Rooms were very small. Few outlets. Outdated. Tiny bathroom, no shelves, fixtures weren't working. Ok for 1 nt or short bus. stay. Not for vacation.
