The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. The babysitting service they use is excellant. Great comp. breakfast. We had the best vacation ever and we owe alot of it to the staff for helping with directions and things to do while we were there. Will stay there next time we visit LA. Thanks again to all of the staff.

The housekeeping staff dumped my opened and unopened professional journals/publications while cleaning my room. The staff denied it. I was severerly inconvenienced since I had a report due and needed the references. I requested an investigation into the matter and limited fact finding was done. Needles to say, this matter was not resolved to my satisfaction. Beware of your personal items...they may end up missing.
loved it

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was great. It was within walking distance to the french quarter. When we go back to New Orleans we will stay there again.

Great hotel in a great location. Everything was wonderful including the free breakfast everyday except for one thing. There is a $20/day charge on parking that travelocity and Marriott failed to mention in their details/rates. After arguing the charge with both Marriott and Travelocity, I came away losing and paying $120 for my 6 day stay. The location is great but no one is exempt from the paid parking rule in New Orleans it seems.

Accommodations were very good.Quiet, clean. A little further from the French Quarter than we anticipated, but close to restaurants in that area and close to Rail line and Riverwalk. Loved visiting the DDay Museum which is about 2 blocks from hotel. Other artist type places in the area.
The trolley line into the city could be a great asset but had trouble finding a schedule and I think most of that is because it is not running at full speed yet because of Katrina and lower numbers of tourists to ride. A trolley stop is only about 2 blocks from hotel.
