Great Location in Midtown

The location could not have been better--right on Park Ave and just blocks from the subway, Grand Central Station, and Central Park. The hotel is rather old and the rooms are a bit outdated and small especially for 3 adults. The staff were very helpful and made it easy to get around without using cabs.
Loved it!

I felt like a princess staying at the Waldorf. It is beautifully decorated, the service is amazing and the room was extremly comfortable.

I stayed at the Waldorf during the Christmas holidays, and I must say that the decorations are beautiful. The room was emmaculate and the concierge was wonderful. We checked in very late, so our room was gone , but they accomodated us by giving us a free upgrade and breakfast vouchers. I can certainly say that they do not believe in having unhappy guests. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends.

My family and I traveled to New York on pleasure we found it quite different. The room was shabby with beaten up furniture, peeling paint, and a musty smell. We were barked at by the maids as to when we were checking out, the valet took 45 minutes to bring our car around, and then we were charged more per day for parking then was posted on the website. The wost though was the ticket agent in the lobby. He did not disclose his fee but just put through the charge. Extremely unethical!
