I would highly recommend this hotel. It's in a great location about four blocks from Navy Pier and two blocks from Michigan Ave. The room was huge with a 12 foot closet and a large bathroom with a fantastic shower head. There were four women in our room and we were all comfortable. The service at this hotel was great. We called a few times for towels and extra hangers, not only did they arrive within ten minutes guest services called our room to each time to confirm the delivery. The indoor pool, locker room and weight room were beautiful. We will for sure return......

very pleasant stay/but

spent two nights; room was large enough, bathroom was also larger than expected. I recently stayed at highly rated resort in Wisc. Dells and this room was much better. Bed was very comfortable. Only downside on the room was some cleaning bags left behind by staff. Location is excellent for what we wanted to do-shop on Magnificent Mile, take river tour, see Wicked. All were done walking; only needed to take cab to/from Ogilvie Station. Only knock is on security-seemed lax, and fact that everything seemed to be "a la carte" and not inexpensive. For example, breakfast at the in house eatery was 3x what we paid at local restaurant

Great location close to Navy Pier and on the river.

Walking distance to Navy Pier, right on the river. Kid friendly, clean. Standard room is standard size (small, with two double beds) but comfortable. Didn't try all on-site restaurants except for the burger restaurant - great for lunch - and the breakfast buffet - which was expensive ($21/adult + tax + tip, with one kid free for each paid adult) but very easy since it's right downstairs and it was quite good with lots of choices for everyone. Front desk and other service people were friendly and helpful. Pool water was a little tough on the eyes. Overall, a nice hotel and fine for kids.

We enjoyed our stay

We went for a two day stay, myself and my two teen age sons. They loved the pool, however the chlorine smell was enough to make you leave the area. The staff was very helpful and friendly for the most part. Our room was clean and we could see the lake from it. We were about two blocks off Michigan Ave and close to alot of attractions. Snacks, drinks and the hotel restaurants were very pricey. We tried to go else where for these things. Being a single mom, I'm very concerned with security and we felt safe. The hotel staff was very good at advising means of travel and one of the bell staff gave me his front desk number in case we couldn't get a taxi after the White Sox game. Overall, we were pleased. It is expensive, but Chcago is just like that wherever you go. We would definitely stay there again.
