Not a good hotel

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 9th anniversary. The night of our stay, a winter storm hit, so we tried to reschedule and were told either get there somehow, or we would still be charged the $300. We finally got there, get to our room, and it smells absolutely horrible. The shower would not drain, I had to do it myself, because after calling twice, nobody came to look at it. The "Lake" view was a tiny corner of the lake, ha! The room was freezing, but the knobs on the heater had fallen off, so we had to figure out a way to get it on, because again, nobody came to look at it. The tv remote stopped working, and it took about 4 hours for someone to replace it, only to have the new one stop working also. I called for that but when we went to bed around 1 am, nobody had come for that. The only good thing about this hotel was Shulas Steakhouse, the food was good, and the service was great! If only the hotel staff could take some lessons from them, then mabye my anniversary wouldnt have been ruined! Then next moring, checkout was so long, I had to send an email to get our complaints in, but if thats anything like the hotel who knows if Ill ever get an answer! I would NEVER stay here again, and I had nothing good to say about the hotel stay.

I stood in line 20 minutes to check in after coming back because the line was too long the first time. The ice machine didn't work, fridge in the room and fan in the shower didn't work, the complimentary breakfast was gone and not restocked even though they were open for another hour. Sheraton really needs to up their game. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. If we didn't get such a great rate, I'd be furious.
