Great stay

We just finished a three night stay and I look forward to staying here again. The hotel was very nice, clean, and was within walking distance to almost everywhere we wanted to go. We used a taxi twice and the bus once otherwise we did lots of walking. It was only a five minute walk to Michigan avenue and there is so much to see there. The view from our room on the 30th floor was amazing. There is a grocery store one block away. There is also a movie theatre and bowling alley across the street. The hotel has a nice pool (no whirlpool) and workout area. The lobby is very nice and you can tell right away you are staying in a quality hotel. I was very impressed. The hotel is in a good area and we always felt safe. Great place to stay. The only thing I wished they had was a mini fridge in our room to keep things cold. The have a pre stocked fridge but everything cost a fortune so we never used anything. Bring a cooler and stock up at the grocery store.

we showed up jan 1st and the rooms were not ready from the night before and we had a to wait an hour for our reservation. they upgraded our room because of our wait, it was very nice. BEAUTIFUL location and views, if you love the chicago skyline, this is a choice pick, a little exspensive

Great hotel.

Huge room with great comfort. Room service food was only ok - could definitely improve it. Would definitely stay again though.

Great service hotel!

I recently stayed here from 1/1/09 thru 1/5/09. The hotel was very nice, clean and very friendly people. The only complaint I have is that you can hear people in the hallways. I noticed there is a 2 inch gap under the front door, so you can hear people in the hallways. Very annoying when you are asleep and people are talking too loudly and wake you up! Other than that, everything else was great. The beds were super comfortable and soft with down comforters! The breakfast downstairs was very good, everything made fresh to order. I stayed in the Club level, and had breakfast in the lounge upstairs the last day. Not bad for free. Fresh pastries, bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee and tea. They only ask for a gratuity. the gym was a bit small, but decent. Across the street is the movie theatre, bowling and a few restaurants. The magnificent mile is a few blocks away. Pretty much everything is in walking distance if it's not too cold. I would probably stay on the Magnificent Mile next time, since everything is around there.

I thought the hotel was perfecto. Good location, Comfortable beds & loved the African Blend Coffee. I will stay here again if the rates match our budget for the next Vacay to Chicago. Other tips or input: I recommend seeing the broadway show "Wicked". It was amazing. Check out a show at Second City. For sure, see a museum. FYI: there is a grocery store very close to the hotel called "Dominick" (sp?). Perfect for bottle water, fruit & snacks. If you are a Bank of America Card holder you get one ticket free at the Art Institiute of Chicago. That's it. Love the City of Chicago.
