Life in the 18th Century

The location near all the major historic attractions can't be beat. The sparse accomodations, lack of television remote control, non working hairdryer in bathroom, shortage of electrical outlets, and absent management may be excusable given the atmosphere and price. However, discovering that you are sharing the room with a family of mice is inexcusable, not to mention the roaches that we spotted a few times. In this day and age, rodent infestation is avoidable. We're not still living in the 18th century.

If you like to feel you are a part of the city and its hostory and character this is a great place. Not your typical vanilla room. Great restaurant and bar. Walk to everything. And least expensive rates around.

European style 12 room hotel. Friendly staff, breakfast with room, great restaurant, walk to everything. Best price around. Don't expect the Four Seasons, but great little place in the middle of all the walking historic sites

Bigh hole in wall of room, cable TV not working, mouse droppings on table, junk in foyer, non-working telephone, off-site manager who doesn't answer phone. Convenient to Historic Area.
