This was one of the worst hotel stays ever. They had us booked into a smoking room, my reservation was for non-smoking. I had to call the travel agency to get the hotel to come up with another room, and we went from a suite with 2 beds to a suite with 1 bed and a fold out couch in the living room area. My kids didn't want to sleep on the couch-bed, all the noise from the pool area was a little frightening to them, so my husband and I spent our vacation sleeping in separate rooms. And the way the rooms are set up, if you have to sleep in the living room area, you are only feet from the pool, outdoor bar, and billards table, and all the loud talking and laughter that goes along with a bar at night. The couch, when folded out, had a wafer thin mattress, and takes up the whole room, so we had to make it up first thing in the morning...yes, I got to spend my vacation making up a bed 2x/day. The staff was rude, after calling and asking about getting an extra towel, I was afraid to call the front desk again, the woman was rude and sarcastic. When I made up the couch the first night, I unfolded the blanket, and found long black hairs scattered all over it...so they were apparently not washing the blankets between guests. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and mildew around the tub. The free breakfast is a joke, the orange juice is actually weak Tang, there is not enough seating, cereal ran out , the fruit is canned fruit cocktail. I cannot say enough BAD things about this hotel.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. Our kids were 9. 15 and 16, and we never heard a complaint from any of them. The pool was nice and a good size. The hot tub felt wonderful and relaxing. The staff was pleasant and helpful. It is located around the corner from Busch Gardens and about an hour drive to Sea World. It is about 30 minutes to the beach at Indian Rock Shores. The location was an added bonus. It was a pleasant family meeting place. And this will be the place we stayed when in this area for any reason.

We had an ajoining room with our family from another state which was fun. The pool area is beautiful and the heated pool as well as the heated spa was was used every day of our 4 night stay. The location was convenient to the activities we did. Next time I need a motel in Tampa, it will be this one!

People off the streets were wandering the hallways through the night. Security had to be called. The water was out in the building for almost a day and they did not provide water for drinking or washing. No water meant no toilets. When called about the water situation the front desk was rude. They would promise the water would be fixed in an hour but several hours later it still was not working. Only 2 elevators and one was out of service. Staff told us that the elevator seldom worked and the hotel had been having problems with the water off and on for weeks.

I can?t believe this hotel shows in the web page with more than 3 stars. Hall ways were dirty. Although the room smelled good, it had dead roaches at the corners. The mattresses smelled old and were extremely uncomfortable. The only thing we enjoyed was the pool side Parrot Club, good food and service. Also the online travel website web site shows the hotel as having fitness center and room service, it?s not true. online travel website staff ? I still waiting for a call from you guys about the misleading representation of this hotel on your web page.
