Very Impressed

We stayed for 2 nights for a little anniversary getaway. I was very impressed with how clean everything was especially for the price. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is located in the middle of a huge shopping and restaurant area. It was very quiet dispite the location which shocked us too. The continental breakfast was cool the lobby was small so we were able to bring our food back to our room which was nice.

A solid choice

Stayed here again this weekend- stayed in April 2008 also Both times, found a clean room and a reasonable price. Building 4 near the mall parking lot has some vehicle noise til the mall closes and then very quiet. Check in staff can go from helpful & friendly to unfriendly -depends on who you get to serve you. The area around the motel has plenty of shopping, food, & gas choices. Would stay there again. One downside , the heat/air unit is very loud. Brought my own blankets in and shut the system down in order to get some peaceful sleep.

Not bad, but a little quirky

I stayed overnight on a trip to Norfolk. The desk person didn't know how to handle my pre-paid online travel reservation, but it got worked out. My room was okay, but it did have a few big bugs in it (one large spider, one cricket, and one black beetle that suprised me in the bathroom). After disposing of the pests, it was comfortable enough. The free "continental breakfast" was at the closed-down Waffle House next door. Very strange place, with brown paper on the windows, and an overactive air conditioner. Very basic food, but it was free. Other guests fled the venue for "a real breakfast." The location was good. Right off of I-95, and close to shopping centers, convenience stores, and gas stations. The next time through, I'd probably look for something a little more upscale. But to be fair, for the purpose of the stay, this place was adequate.

Great spot for the $$

Hotel is alot nicer than the directory picture of the office. Room and bath were clean and fresh. I was on the second floor on the backside of the building and my only complaint is that my view out my window included the open dumpster about 40 feet away. The Waffle House is walking distance from the room but I opted to drive across the street where there is a huge mall area of businesses including MUCH better restaurants.

Good value for the price

The room was clean which is always most important, nothing fancy but if you need a place to crash for a night or two at a decent price this is fine. Not much of a breakfast but the Waffle house is right next door and it is right off 95 if you are passing through
