No excuse for poor customer service!

The room was wonderful for the money; comfortable and very nicely appointed. The complimentary breakfast was good and the coffee was really good, although they really need to keep up with restocking the food to eliminate the need to track the hostesses down and ask for more. Parking was easy and convenient. Our problem was with the desk clerk upon check-in. We were told he was a "Floor Manager." We booked a King Bed with a Fold-Out Sofa. He sent us to a room with a King but no sofa. He claimed there were no King rooms left and our only choice was to take two Queens. We arrived at 4:00 in the afternoon! When we tried to say that we really wanted the room we booked and paid for, he became VERY threatening and hostile, embarassing my family in front of other guests checking in. He helped another family and told us to wait. Another "clerk" came out (turns out he was a family member of one of the owners) to help us. First he tried to claim that they did not have specific information on the room we booked, then he tried to tell us that there was a water pipe break which had rendered several King Rooms unusable. He was getting his information from the manager in the back, who wouldn't leave her desk to help us or the several guests now waiting. We found out from the maintanence man that there had been a water break the week before, but only had affected a few Queen Rooms. Needless to say, their customer service skills need upgrading.

We made our reservation 2 weeks prior to arrival. We arrived with no rooms available because they sold out. We had to find another hotel and when we got back from our vacation, we found out that this hotel charged us for 3 days! DO NOT BOOK!

This place is wonderful. It is a small hotel, but the staff is friendly and the area is so quiet. It shares its parking lot with two restaurants (McDonald's and Hollihans) so getting something to eat was not a problem. The room was on the small side, but so cozy and so homey. This is a great hotel for people who want quiet and relaxation. Doesn't really seem like a family place, did not see much kids, but adults would enjoy it to the fullest.

Loved it! Galleria Palms is a great hotel!

What a terrific hotel. Location perfect. Located on US 192 at marker #5. Less than 10 minutes from all Disney theme parks and only 20 minutes from Universal Studios Florida. Plenty of free parking. Rooms are fantastic! Pillow-top beds, Bath and Bodyworks ammenities, black granite counter tops. Plenty of room. The free deluxe continental breakfast was very tasty. Waffles, biscuits and gravy and hard boiled eggs. Also fresh bagels, breads, muffins and pastries. Hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, milk and three types of fruit juices. Very friendly staff. We were greeted with a smile everytime. Don't understand how people can say the staff was rude. We were unable to enjoy the pool. A little too cool outside, but it looked very inviting, especially at night with its purple under water lights. We will recommend this hotel very highly to anyone. Check out their website. The pictures are exactly what this property looks like. We can't wait to return to the Galleria Palms!

Great place to stay!

Hotel was extremely clean, beds comfortable, shower great, quiet area. This place is great for a family on a budget. The continental breakfast was more than expected (cereal, muffins, pastries, fruit, waffles, toast, biscuits & gravy) but for those who want more this is an I-Hop right across the parking lot as well as many restaurants within one mile. If visiting Disney, highly recommend renting a car as the hotel's shuttle only goes twice a day. Very easy to drive to Disney properties via rental car and front desk staff even gave us a short cut. We have stayed at many budget hotels and this one was by far the BEST!
