under major construction

This hotel is not suitable for reservations. The hotel is dirty with construction debri. When entering the drive up entrance to the main lobby you could not get in the door as the construction crew are grinding stone to retrofit the entrance way. The only other hotel I've ever stayed in was in London.

Good Stay

To say this is listed as a two-star facility, you get a good value. Beds are comfortable, there's a fridge in the room, no fancy decorations or anything but everything you need is there. As long as your expectations are reasonable, you'll find this hotel to your liking. They were doing some renovations during regular working hours; the sound isn't that intrusive, and chances are you'll be out and about during those hours anyway.

What a dump!

I have stayed is terrible motels before, but nothing like this dump! The staff were horrible! We had to wait for about a half hour for someone to serve us. When we complained about the room, (read more) they said there was nothing they could do for us! The room had mold and roaches in it. Although it was suppose to be a non-smoking room, it recked of marijuana and beer. My wife became so sick, we had to leave and check into another motel. If you would like to stay in a kennel, go to this joint!

Nice Casual Place

This hotel was very affordable, and served as a great way for a single parent to be near the beach without being too near the beach with two children. There was a discrepancy between an amenity offered on Travelocity's website and what was offered at the hotel, and the online travel agency was responsible in seeing that we were accommodated (there was supposed to be a breakfast buffet included which the hotel no longer had).

Decent Rooms, bad service.

Booked through Travelocity, so it was all set up when I got there. Woman at front desk wasn't friendly or welcoming. Just "here is you key, elevators are over there". Room was clean and nicely set up. Pool was clean and great after the hot day at Ocean City. Male clerk at front desk recommended two places for dinner within walking distance. After walking around for an hour unable to find any restaurants open for dinner, came back to the hotel to try the Harpers Restaurant. Waiter was unshaved and flustered in his blue jeans and polo shirt. Menu was photocopied and stapled together. I ordered, the waiter left for 20 minutes before coming back with the drinks and said the chef didn't have the ingredients to make the sandwich, pick something else. I found something easier to make. The chef came out about 15 minutes later and said that he couldn't make that either. He could make the Prime Rib sandwich or a hot dog. So I ordered the hot dog. He asked me if I really wanted a hot dog. I remembered from the menu that the Prime Rib sandwich was the most expensive sandwich on the menu, but was forced to finally order that. 30 minutes later the food came out. The fries were the frozen kind you get out of the bag at Giant. The sandwich wasn't appetizing at all. During the meal a homeless man walked by the window outside the restaurant and started peeing. The lounge/bar was very nicely set up with pool tables and tvs, the bartender wandered off too many times. Found out when I went to get ice that they were still doing renovations on one side of the hotel.
