Lets start off by saying the staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean and smelled nice. It was a wonderful view and i really enjoyed the beds very comfy. I thought it was the best hotel i ever stayed in. I met a man who parks cars and i thought he was very nice. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to CA. J was a very helpful guy ( The concierge). I was very happy with the quality of this hotel.

My fiance and I checked into the Crowne after vacating a dump costing considerably more. We smoke and were delitghted to find there are smoking and non-smoking rooms, balconies with nearly every room offering a relaxing indoor/outdoor environment, and the bed was as comfortable as the one I have at home which I spent some serious coin on. We were pleasantly shocked. For nearly 1/2 of what we paid elsewhere, this hotel was in a much better location, the conceirge MORE than helpful in giving directions along with a map and personal references, and the overall experience was enjoyable. We were only able to relax for 1 (ONE) day of our vacation and that was the day after we checked into the Crowne. We will DEFFINITELY be back. Note: if you require 5-star or even "elegant" accomodations, this hotel is likely not a good fit for you. If you're laid back, enjoy life for what it is, want the freedom to be who you are and not feel like an outcast, this is the hotel for you.

1. Upon arrival there was no room reservations for the wife and me Was told to have a seat in the lounge area, and they would deal with our problem later. Forty five minutes later we were still waiting no one really was concerned! This is not acceptable. 2. A room was found. We tried to enter and it was occupied. The front desk found my wife?s name as an occupant of this room. 3. Another room was found and we checked in. 4. Our room was not cleaned on the third day. Someone had placed a do not disturb sign on our door and housekeeping complied. In fact they left a voice message on the phone indicating they were ready to clean the room when we returned. I tried to retrieve the message using the instructions on the phone and could not. I called the front desk and they sent a person to help. He would not explain how I was to know that by pressing 55 on the keyboard I could retrieve the message. Anyway we got by some clean towels, soap, etc.. I mentioned the dial 55 mystery to the front desk along with an inability to set the clock radios in our room. The response--, yea we know. No one can set the clocks and maybe we should say something about the 55 issue. 5. 2:00 AM 1 January. Fire alarm. Drunks in the hall. 6. 2 January returned to room around noon; couldn?t open door. Housekeeping said we had checked out. Re-keyed my cards, house cleaning cleaned the room and life went on.

I arrived very stressed out, lost cell phone. Desk clerk spent 20 minutes locating # to call to deactivate phone. Entire staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Room service until ll pm. First time user of room service, not cheap but fast and good food. Paid more then use to for stay but it was worth it. After the desk clerks help felt like a weight was lifted, will never forget how nice and helpful they were..

For the best in leisure activities, the hotel is across from King Harbor Marina and 27 miles of beachside walking/biking trails. Stretch out on the beach. Try volleyball, beach-style. Stroll to over 15 ocean-view restaurants and the Redondo Pier.
