Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. Had a wonderful view of the ocean and a balcony. One bedroom unit with a full kitchen, living area, king size bed, jacuzzi and shower. Conference rooms were nice, food was good, however I was disappointed that the internet access in the conference room was very spotty wireless and the hardlines did not work. In rooms, internet access was only available if you had a phone cord and dial up. However, there was free wireless in the lobby. Easy access to the beach, great pool areas, the spa was nice and the fitness room was well equipped. Elevators could be slow at times and front desk staff was somewhat slow with check-in (originally the guy forgot to give me the bracelet I needed to get use the pool area.)
Overall a nice stay and a nice room--would definately come back and even bring the family.

Great hotel to take the family, park the car and leave it in the parking garage for a few days. There are restaurants all around the hotel, a movie theater, a water park and arcade spot all within a stone's throw.
The rooms are large and well appointed. This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a beach hotel that has to deal with sand and wind and beach elements. For all of that, it is holding up nicely and the full kitchen is great. I wish I would have stopped at a grocery store for some staples before I got here.
Great value for the money.

we had 2 adults 2 children - we paid for a oceanfront room and got one right on the extremely busy street. when we called the front desk they gave us the run around and finally said it was the only available room. maid service never came, the pool was always too busy to get lounge chairs. they were way understaffed and were not personalble at all.i never saw any type of activities. the only good thing was that we were within walking distance to places to eat and the typical tourist shops.when checking out we ran into a property owner who stated they and other condo owners were trying to get new management because they also were not happy with the wyndham. would never recommend or stay again!
Be sure to read the reviews before you book!

I should have read the reviews before I made reservations because it sounds like we had the same suite. Upon checking into our oceanfront room at 2AM, found the balcony door locked. I called the Front Desk and they said it was locked due to renovations. I was not told this upon Check In and the Front Desk Clerk said "Oh, well." They would not let us change rooms even though I paid for an Ocean Front room. Technically, they fulfulled their agreement but you expect to be able to use the balcony. There were cables in front of the window and plastic on the rails obscuring the view. The suite was once very nice but stains on the carpet and a side chair that was ripped and had white paint on it. There were at least 2-3 light bulbs burned out in each room. In their defense, I did not call Housekeeping to let them know-- I figured it would be another "Oh, well."
GREAT value off-season

We stayed in an oceanfront view room, off-season, which was very roomy & beautiful. We loved the full kitchen & apartment-size washer/dryer combo! The oceanview balconies however are being redone/cleaned (& therefore, unusable) in several locations throughout the hotel. I was given advance notice by my sisiter who lives locally so I called the hotel directly a week before to confirm that I was to get a balcony NOT under construction so my family could enjoy. They were able to honor my request at check-in. We noticed a few things when we first checked in..lightbulb missing in lamp, no pillows for pull-out sofa...these were quickly taken care of after a call to the front desk. We loved the pools & location..very close to restaurants & ocean; very convenient. 3 things I didn't care much for..housekeeping never come to our room to clean/replace supplies. We only stayed for 2 days though & could make do without. Second, the hotel is also a time-share & we were bombarded with requests to attend one of their informational sessions. Lastly, when we went to get towels for the pool, the number of towels were limited per room & we were told that we had to keep the towels our entire stay & return them to that location at the end of our stay. Inconvenient, as this meant after a day relaxing at the beach or pool, we were to wash the towels & we were only given enough detergent for one load. We've stayed at several other resorts around the world & that made it feel not really as a "resort". Overall, we stayed off-season which was a real value! I wouldn't however, necesarilly stay there peak season when the room are MUCH more expensive!
