This hotel used to be the best in New Orleans. It was awful! The food was awful, inedible, the rooms look like Laura Ashley has a pshchadelic trip in there. The room and bath were VERY dirty. Also, complaining did no good. Worst hotel I have been to ...Read more

The staff is friendly and accommodating as ever, but unfortunately, post Katrina, there are still not enough of them. Also the public areas are exceptional but the suites are getting a little shabby (stained carpet, etc.)
