The front desk service was good. I arrived at the same time as a large wedding party, but the desk clerk realized I wasn’t with the group and motioned me over to one side to check me in quickly. We did not have a Falls’ view, but we did get upgraded to a much larger room without asking.
The restaurant service was also very good. Since one of the perks of my Priority Club membership was a free breakfast buffet for two, we ate in the hotel restaurant each morning. The waitress doubled that bonus by also not charging us for our two teenage children. Our coffee cups stayed full and dishes were cleared away before they became a nuisance. The food was pretty typical hotel buffet fare, but eating in the hotel got us out to the Falls earlier.
The hotel has a large indoor-pool atrium area with a hot tub and sauna. I have to admit that after a day of trekking over the Falls area, the hot tub felt pretty good. The hotel bar has a picture window overlooking the pool that allowed me to have a cocktail and read the newspaper while everyone went for a second swim after supper.
Check-out went smoothly, with no surprises on the bill. One problem I did encounter was that access from the parking garage to the lobby area was a bit confusing, and I found myself on the city street taking a short tour of downtown before picking up the luggage.
All in all, the hotel was a good experience. I would recommend it for your visit.
