Front Desk Service

Hotel was ok...clean, but front desk service wasn't up to par. Were not knowledgeable on the city of Boston (restaurants, sight seeing, shopping) or amenities of their hotel. Posting said they had shuttles to events to the TD Northbank Garden, but hadn't mentioned that only available at specific times (in other words, unless your event is from 6:30pm and ends before 9:30pm, it's worthless).

The shuttle is a joke. Always slow and unpredictable as far as availability. Staff, with the exception of housekeeping who were wonderful, didn't seem very willing to help with anything and they weren't very courteous. It is unlikely I would stay here again.

Staff was unorganized. Gave us the wrong room - 1 bed for three people. Restaurant staff was slow, food was not good. There was no one to seat anyone in the restaurant on Sun AM, the line was out to the main door.

Good: Staff friendly and helpful. Pool/hot tub great. Close enough to train, but I'd say 3-4 blocks, not 2. Can pay $3.50 to park at station if spaces available. Bad: "Double" sofa bed really a Twin, so I slept in king-sized bed with 3 kids--no room for roll-a-way. Sofa bed horribly uncomfortable. Mass confusion on if your kids eat free. Be prepared to spend $11/person for mediocre breakfast. Waited in long line to get into restaurant. Shuttle already booked for when we wanted it. Not right hotel for family of 5, but might work for others.
