Great location and very comfortable

We spent Xmas in Paris and had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff was accommodating and the room was very nice. There was plenty of storage space and the bathroom was very large given Parisian standards. The bed and linens were all very comfortable as well. I also celebrated a birthday while in Paris and the hotel left a small gift in our room. The location is well situated and I would definitely consider staying there again. Xmas is a great time to visit Paris. It was very cold but the lights and atmosphere are really festive. Hint: If you're going to print your boarding pass, rather than buying 30 minutes of PC time, go to the front desk. They have cards that you can access the PC's with and it's free. If you're only needing the PC for a few minutes don't hesitate to ask.

The lobby of the westin is very pretty - they have an interior couryard that carries around the entire lobby/restaurant area with beautiful mood setting sexy chandeliers. The Hallways to the rooms could have used some of the same style - they missed the boat on these areas. The use of space in the rooms are pretty good and the decor is quite nice. Our bathroom had some peeling paint over the shower area and the curved hotel shower rod was not installed properly so when you showered you were guaranteed water on the floor. I thought the conceirge could do a better job - they didn't seem that friendly or that they wanted to go the extra mile for anything and their suggestion on where to have dinner was not very good. We found other great places on our own. But the location is perfect - you can walk to everywhere and it's a great street to be on and overall it's a good place and probably would stay again since we got such a great deal using online travel website.

Hotel is located across from Tuilleries gardens with a short walk to the Louvre. My wife and I visited Paris for our anniversary and were not disappointed with anything about the trip. The hotel room, although small, was decorated with a modern look and was very comfortable. Learn the Metro - you can't beat it for getting around the city in a hurry.

I thought most negative reviews were written by travelers who had a grudge of some kind so let me start by saying this is a conveniently located (close to museums and monuments) and beautiful old hotel. We payed $$ euro extra a night for one of the best views in Paris but....
The toilet seat was broken (detached at the hinge) so you thought you would slide on the floor every time you sat down. We gave up after three requests for repair. The room service was prompt but the food was terrible (tasted like it was a frozen dinner). The spa was a few tred machines in a room with a pile of towels and water cooler. And the topper was being awakened by a rodent crawling over me in bed! The management was polite and offered to change the room but where there is one there were probably many more. "It's Paris!" I was told but I never had that happen to me before and I am sure they have access to those electronic devices that keep rodents and insects away.If you were paying $$$ a night you might put up with this but with a rate listed at $$$ a night (even $$$) I would definitely expect a lot more.
