This was an okay motel, the staff was friendly and we really just needed a place to sleep and swim. There is quite a high driveway to go down and get back up but there are stairs to the lake to use instead. This is a problem for older people and our knees! The pool was nice( but really could use a paint job to make it more appealing) and they had a poolside snackbar. The beds were great and comfy but there was a strong perfumey damp smell entering the room that we got used to after a while. The trolley took us into town which wasn't too far away and this motel is on the lake, good view from outside the room and the pool. So, for my friend and I, this place was good enough and fit the budget.

This is an old, run-down hotel that has a very nice exterior facelift. Don't be fooled! Very dangerous to walk narrow shoulder to village from here!

This hotel had teh worst mildew smell ever. I know they recently had flooding, but maybe they should have closed all together instead of trying to make a buck on sub-par rooms.
