Hotels in this part of Texas seem to all be either overpriced and or really worn and aged.
The staff were nice, it was basic clean, the "hot" breakfast was a little odd, some kind of cut up kabalsa looking link with biscuit. It could use a new furniture upgrade. either the people in this part of Texas are really hard on hotels, i don't know, maybe it's the feeling when you're in this part of Texas you're visiting in Iraq or somewhere else in the mideast. Nice staff, basic accommodations.
Worst Hampton EVER

Sept 2008, checked in room smelled like smoke, even though NON-smoking rooms the person at front counter offered febreeze spray. Later that day we changed room, 2nd room smelled musty sprayed fabreese. That evening 10pm there was stomping from the room upstairs, called front desk she was going to come up to our room and never showed up or called. Taped noises on cel phone and went down to front desk, was told she had already been upstairs and heard nothing. The 3rd night was better. I did recieve credit for 1 night stay. But would NEVER stay there again. Should have changed hotels after the first problem. I have stayed at Hamptons in many other states never with this problems.
Super Great Hotel

Our stay was great. There weren't any rooms available in town. We got lucky and got a room that had jus cancelled. Thank goodness we did. This place was super.

This stay was flawless. The reservation was right, the hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, the high speed worked, and the staff and management were terrific. Even after all that the wake up call was delivered and my bill was correct. What more could I ask for?
I wish all hotels were like this one.
Excellent clean hotel for family

Our family stayed here for two fantastic nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and effecient, and the pool was so great since it was indoors which meant we could swim eventhough it was cloudy outside.
I look forward to returning to San Angelo and will definately stay at this hotel again.
