Not as good as last time

We stayed here in May of 2008 and our most recent stay was not as good as it was last year. The rooms are still clean and the location is great, however the service was not as good. We were there for 5 days, 4 nights, and our room was not cleaned one the the days we were there. When we called to ask for clean towels, nobody showed for an hour. Then the front desk called to ask if we had gotten our towels, no, and it took another 20 minutes to get them. Also, our room did not have an alarm clock when we arrived. We had to call on 2 seperate nights to have one brought up. The breakfast is always great and the staff is nice, it just took way too long to respond to our simple requests.

I have been using the Hyatt Place chain ever since it came into existance. I mainly use it for business travel and cannot beat its quality for the price I normally pay. This particular trip was for leisure and I used my Gold Passport point to reserve two rooms, one for my family and one for my in-laws. I could not have asked for a better stay. The rooms were great. They were furnished well and very clean. They serve a continential breakfast and although I would like to have a few more items to choose from (pastries, buscuits, bigger fruit selection, etc) I cannot complain because they offer more than what I normally have at home in the mornings. The whole atmosphere in this hotel (in the entire Hyatt Place chain) is wonderful. The hotel has a very fresh clean feel to it and the staff has ALWAYS been extremely helpful and courteous regardless of my needs. I don't think you can go wrong with staying at this hotel and if you are not pleased with it, I seriously doubt that you are pleased with any of the hotels you stay at.

This was the best room I've ever received in this price range. Room layout is fantastic. Everything is nice, clean and handy. Downstairs, they offer good Starbucks coffee to start the day right. Very nice hotel.

Newly refurbished hotel, rooms very clean, brand new, large flat screen high def tv in every room, very friendly courteous staff, nice continental breakfast downstairs every morning. Easy access to most things in Charlotte. Would definitely stay here again, planning on it.
Wonderful Place

I stayed here for three and a half weeks for training. I had an awesome time here at this hotel. The staff made me feel like I was family. We all becamse very close. The rooms are so nice. They are spacious and have a lot to offer. They are in the process of turning into "Hyatt Place" and the new rooms are so nice. Their breakfast selection is amazing. The best breakfast I've ever recieved at a hotel, andI have stayed at a lot of hotels. The next time I come back through Charlotte, NC I will stay at AmeriSuites/Hyatt Place.
