Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay and have stayed at many hotes in Athens since our son is at UGA.
This has been the best one ever. Came to Athens over football weekend and even thought it was so busy, the staff was fabulous and it was a fun filled time. The pillow top mattress was great and we really loved the Melting Point music show and the game day activities. We will be back!

Not what I expected at all - such a charming hotel and has a spa and we even went to see a live music show. Best beds in Athens with new down comforters.
Bordering on bad

On arrival, door hinge needed repair. I had called prior to verify avail. wirelessANDwired web, but when I got there: no ethernet connect. One of my beds had dirty sheet. The menu for the hotel's MeltingPot restaurant showed wrong price, so I paid more than expected. Also, my expensive burger was more char than flavor. AND I had gnats!!! Of course, I discovered most of this when I finally retired to my room for the evening.

great place to stay in athens...great service and not your typical "hotel" a true boutique inn.

"I expected a better place after reading the reviews. I was pleased with the service desk. When I checked in, the spread was dirty, and the staff changed my room immediately, with an apology.However, the next day, there were stains on the spread in that room too. Housekeeping was a bit slack, but overall, the experience was average. I think I could have stayed at a cheaper place and been happier. "
