Very good staff

This is an average motel. It was clean but a bit tired. A/C was noisy. Bathroom was the best feature of the room. Pets are allowed which was great. High speed internet was spotty, but staff was willing to reset the router on two occasions. Free breakfast is typical. Location is good, close to downtown and restaurants. I thought it was a bit expensive ($*/night) but was priced competitively with other hotels of the same caliber.
Acceptable Hotel

This hotel was fine - although a little pricey for what you get ( know Durango's always pricey though). It's a basic motel. The only complaint we would have is that the pool is very small, and always full of screaming, running, jumping, splashing kids. The two indoor hot tubs are nice, but they too were full of very small children. The location is out the north end of downtown, but not far.
A Decent Hotel

A decent, basic hotel. The staff was friendly and the pool was located in the back of the property (unlike some other hotels in Durango). The beds could have been more comfortable and the toilet paper was TERRIBLE! At breakfast, we had to ask for additional items to be placed on the bar. Make sure you ask! Also, this hotel changed ownership in June 2006, so anything I say may have already changed.Overall, a decent hotel for the money. Nothing fancy. But you don't come to Durango for the hotels!

Good for the cost of the room. Nothing special, just an adequate hotel. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Located approximately 2 miles from historic Durango. No complaints.
