The Stoneleigh is a very old hotel - elegant and European in feeling. We were totally relaxed there. The hotel will be undergoing a top to bottom renovation, and will be adding a pool and spa. This may make it more attractive to some travelers.
"Great Service, Not So Great Rooms"

This hotel is badly in need of a renovation. Good news one is planned. Service was excellent, rooms were falling apart. AC adjustment requires a front desk call. Shower curtain rod fell off. Too few towels for two people. Hard to use sink with shelf in the way. Staff made up for it as best they could.

Front dest clerk wanted to argue that they don't honor room type requests from ***. The rooms are tired with a broken window that was repaired with clear strapping tape. The tub was stained and looked dirty. The sheets and pillows are well used. They could have made it a better stay with a friendly attitude.
