stayed here for 2 nights and I was not impressed at all. The room smelled horrible when we first arrived, the tv is very fuzzy, the pool is dirty beyond belief, the staff is lack luster at best, there were cracks in the window, yellow gunk all over the bathroom, and they advertise a free shuttle which does not exsist. It did offer a place to sleep but i would recommend if you are going to stay here to bring your own pillows,blankets, bed sheets, towels, disinfectant wipes and some lysol.
Great hotel for a Trip to Cedar Point!!

Rodeway was a great place to stay for the summer days we spent in Sandusky going to cedar point. We found this hotel just right for our small family. my two sons loved the pool and game room and found the location of the hotel nice. The neighborhood was quiet,not like most hotels we've stayed at where the kids in the neighborhood like to throw loud partys @ 2 am. The staff there was great! They worked hard to make our stay a good stay and when we asked for something like a blanket or pillow, they worked hard to get us what we asked for. I & my husband would reccomend this hotel to anyone who asked.

This hotel was in a good place for our family trip to cedar point. it was about 2 miles from the entrance to cedar point which was convenient.

our room was fairly queen, but the window had some mold on it. (we just closed the drapes so we didn't have to see) I was going to make coffee the next morning but there was a moldy filter left in it. to get upstairs you could walk out the back and up some stairs (to my daughters room) I noticed the carpeting on the stairs going up was torn in several spots, be careful not to trip and fall!!! The door upstairs it looked like someone kicked it, it had spider cracking. All in all you get what you pay for, but they could definately improve the little things to make a huge difference!!! Would never recommend, this was our 12th stay in Sandusky and the worst motel!!
Do not stay here !!

This hotel is just terrible. The rooms condition was just awful. From the horrible smell to the stains on the carpets and sheets. I found dead bugs stuck to the walls and the furniture is junk. I would not even give this hotel one star. Dont ruin your vacation like I did, go somewhere else.
