I booked this with an on line representative so I had not read other reviews prior to our arrival. The hotel is incredibly outdated. Bar soap, a shower cap and shampoo were the only toiletries provided. On a positive note, a security guard was on duty in the parking area, That was reasssuring because I didn't feel like we were in a very safe area. Next time, I'll be sure to ask about reviews before booking!

THe room was okay, but smelled really stuffy. The bed skirt had stains on it. It wasn't a bad room, just not what I was expecting.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and it had met my needs. This time, when I arrived to check into a room I had reserved, none were available; they had rented out my room. It was a little past midnight, my two children (2 & 4) were sleeping, my wife and I were tired and we were looking forward to some sleep and rest. The receptionist told me that the general manager had overbooked and that they had no more rooms. He gave me the phone number to two other hotels, which I called, but found no rooms. All the employee offered, was a "sorry"-- NOT good enough. Any hotel that does not honor my reservation, does not deserve my business. I know I arrived late, but I also knew that even if I did not arrive, I would be paying for the room!
A courtesy call to let me know that my room had been rented would have been nice so that I could have accepted family hospitality, but at 12:45 at night, I would not call relatives to ask for lodging. My wife and I drove all night to get back home (end of vacation) to San Jose-- 6 hours!!! This hotel and the chain lost my business.

This is no where near a 3 star property. Although my room was clean, the entry door was badly damaged and the bathroom door would barely close because it was so old it was literally falling off the hinges. The parking is so limited that some quests have to park across the street. If the property was in good repair you might be willing to put up with the noise from the freeway!
