We chose this property because we were traveling with our dog and they are pet friendly. It is $$ extra a night with a $$ deposit. Pretty reasonable. You have to stay in a smoking room if you have a pet so I won't say how NOXIOUS the room smelled. We were warned and that was fair. But it was REALLY bad. I can't go into full detail here - check out the full review on tripadvisor - read the others as well - I wish I had. There were no blankets on the bed aside from the nasty bedspread. The service was disinterested-to-rude, the room was DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY. I mean it was really awful. The sofa was beyond words. There was a HUGE mosquito smeared all over the ceiling right above the bed - we stayed there at the end of October so that bug had been there for MONTHS! GROSS. Really - do research before you stay at this place. Again, read the reviews on Tripadvisor. They are more accurate than what is on this website.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for your money. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was easy to find and close to several restaurants. The only drawback was the hotel restaurant was closed the two days we were there. EXCELLENT!!

Grandview started out as a new awesome alternative to staying all the way in Anchorage, but now it has gone downhill. No Continental Breakfast, Unfriendly Nite Staff, Cleanliness overall & pool upkeep.

This Hotel is wonderful, Great Atmosphere. I enjoied my stay so much. The Staff at the desk went out of her way to make our stay there exceptional. I'd recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
