Room and Staff Help

  • May 23, 2008

We were given a handicap room which we did not request while they admitted other rooms were available but would not move us. The air conditioner did not work and they worked at fixing it but did not fix it, nor would they move us. Complaining to the front desk did not bring any results to the problem. It seemed like moving us would have solved the problems but it just did not happen. We did not have a problem with the room location just the room itself. The room was only barely cleaned while we were there, throwing the comforter over the sheets without pulling up the top sheet leaving it wrinkled under the cover is not making up a bed.

Good Time

The first night we did not like our rooms(2), but after talking to the front desk they moved us the 2nd day. That room was a lot better. I would say ask for a room in the West Tower they are newly remoldel and a lot nicer then the Skylight Tower. I was traveling with a daughter , 2 teenage grandkids and a 6 year old grandchild. They loved the dome. I do think that the security could have been a lot better, in the dome and on the room floors. We were there for a World Champinship for cheerleaders and came home with a 6 year old Champ, so yes we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Deal for the money, towner rooms are worth the extra charge, good location for convention center. Great for the business traveler that does not need to attend many functions at hotels or wants to shop at hotels on the southern end of the strip. Stayed in the skytower on the 20th floor, extremely quiet, no problem sleeping.

Not to sure I got what I paid for

We stayed in the Manor so I cannot speak for the Tower rooms. Quite a walk to everything else in the hotel and the walls were paper thin. No amenities in the rooms, including a coffee maker. Basic television and basic service. Also, located on the end of the strand so you will have to plan on renting a car or taking a taxi or a bus to everything. I would recommend researching to see if you are really recieving a good deal.

I'd rather sleep on the concrete

This was the worse vacation I've ever had. The room wasn't that clean. The sidewalk would have been more comfortable than the bed. How r u supposed to have a romantic/intimate get away when you can't stand to be in the bed.... There were way too many random sales people in the hotel that don't know how to take no for an answer. Will never stay here again.
