The location of the hotel was good and bad. It was in the Old town area of Temecula and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The bad news was it was also located across the street from a country night club, so the late hour drunks were pretty loud. NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THE HOTEL. The air conditioning was broken the first night. Bad sink stopper, and no hot water was not available to shave in the morning. The shower barely sprinkled water on you. Lastly, although they advertised on a card in the room about twenty channels on the TV, I only got a sorta good picture on channel 2. The desk clerk said I needed to plug in a code on my remote. After that failed, they admitted they were having problems with the cable or satellite. My guess, they didn't pay their subscription. Oh and the breakfast that was available in the morning was coffee and costco danish and bagels, which was better than the coffee we were able to make in our room. The cost of this hotel was 2 to 3 times higher than it should have been for what they offered or didn't offer!

While trying to book online and then confirm with the hotel, it shows online availability for non-smoking rooms but when talking with hotel front desk clerk, he said that only smoking rooms were available. I opted to book with another hotel because frankly, I don't want to even take the chance of driving all the way down there and staying in a room that smells like smoke.
