The rooms smell bad

I was very disappointed. When I first got there to check in with my family (we had 2 rooms) they told me that I had cancelled one of the rooms, my daughter and her family had 1 of the rooms. I told them that I had not cancelled and they very rudely said yes you did, they finally found the other room reservation. When my husband and I and our other 2 daughters got to our room, the room smelled really bad and they said they did not have another room available, we kept spraying perfume in it, thank goodness we were gone much of the time. My husband did not sleep well, the next day he went to the office and said he wanted a different room, they moved us to a different room, this one didn't smell as bad, but the water in the shower would not shut off, we had to listen to that all night long. The place is really run down, it is in a great location what a shame the owners don't invest the money to fix it up. I will never stay there again. I will take more on future trips to research the motels. I learned a valuable lesson. I figured if it was rated a "good buy" motel with travel website I couldn't go wrong, but I was wrong. Lesson learned.

wow i read the reviews and i was shocked at the exaggeration! the price compared to other places was great! and i got more than expected. free breakfast, newspaper, and there was always security guy walking around. they even a very cheap sell cheap souvenirs! the only thing that would have made my stay better was if i was closer to the pool - which was clean! i really liked this place and i would definately stay here again - and recommend it to my family!

don't do it!

This place is filthy and dangerous. Locks broken off, rust, mold, dirty bedding. Scary people everywhere partying.

I wasn't impressed with my stay here.Even though the hotel was remodeling, I still didn't think it was worth it.A bed in the 2nd room was broken, while the first didn't have a screen for the bathroom window.Front windows weren't glass, just plexiglass. Not impresssed!

The toilet seat was broken off, the room needed to be vacumed and picked up. The carpet had a 1.5 inch fold running the length of the room. Poorly lit room. I requested extra towels for my family and had to go get them myself. But the location was good.
