Check in was easy, customer service asked what floor we would like? I asked for a quiet spot and they delivered! Room itself was okay... (it was clean, felt clean, was comfortable) it's a hotel afterall. We had a balcony that overlooked the boardwalk and the ocean, we even got to see dolphins swim by. (look closely, don't know if that is seasonal though) We stayed 2 nights, my kids loved the pool. Breakfast buffet was yucky, everything tasted the same, wouldn't recommend it. My in laws did eat dinner there and were happy with their food. Cleaning lady was very helpful and extremely pleasant. (asked her about local restaurants) We had a great time walking the boardwalk, we brought my kids scooters, they LOVED it. We also brought lots of beach toys from our house, spent 2 whole afternoons on the beach, it was lovely. The Virginia aquarium is a short drive away, well worth it for a few hours of fun with little ones. Parking not the greatest setup, and check out service seemed annoyed with having to help us. Only 2 downers. Overall would def. stay again.
Cheerleading nationals

my husband and my 2 daughters went to va beach to see my daughter perform at Old Diominion University for her cheerleading nationals which we took National champs. She was staying at the Hilton which was just 2 hotels down and was very convenient for us. All the staff was great, the rooms were very clean. Housekeepers was very polite with us. The last night there a couple of young boys were being loud an rude to people while being in the indoor pool as my daughter and i was leaving the vending machine area a security guard came. Overall of the hotel it was very nice and my family an I are looking to booking next year just for our vacation. The location of the hotel was perfect for staying in Va Beach. In our room we did have a coffee pot and a frigde, but everything would have been set if there was a microwave also. Also the hotel should look into having a small complementary breakfast bar in the lobby. The parking wasnt the greatest the first night, but as we stayed the remaining of the weekend we were able to get a better parking once they opened up the lot after the buses left. My family and I are looking forward to going back .
