Our first room, our toilet did not work when we initially got to our room. One of the staff came with a plunger..we ended up in the next room. Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were professional. The continental breakfast was good. Cons: When I took a shower, brown water initally came out, their was mildew on the curtain and their were hair stubs from shaving on the shower curtain from the previous guest(s).
Very Nice Hotel for a Weekend Getaway with friends

I was very surprised when I arrived at our hotel room.
For some reason, I had a feeling that staying at La Quinta Inn was not a really good place to stay but my friend made the reservation. Checkin was extremely quick and easy since we prepaid with the travel agency!
After opening the hotel door, I was shocked at the updated, contemporary look of the room. The beds had very comfortable sheets, the decor was neatly laid out, it had a nice sized bathroom, and the room had an upgraded feel.
The staff called to check in on us about an hour after we checked in to see if we needed anything and to verify that we were happy with the room.
We did check out the pool and hot tub, which were great!
The location of the hotel is great; very close to the beach!
I would definately stay here again! And I have a new repect for LaQuinta Inn's!

I was staying at htis hotel for a concert and was only there for 2 days. The room was great, but when we whent to try and check in the staff were really unfriendly. When we checked out, at least then, they were nice. The parking was great. The pool was good. So all around the stay was "OK."

We went to see the Boardwalk Christmas lights and had fun. This is just a couple blocks from the beachfront and boardwalk and you can walk it. Great location near the Neptune scupture on the boardwalk and 31st street. Beds were very comfy with cotton high thread count sheets and pillows. The checkin was quick and friendly and after we were in our rooms they called to see if we needed anything which was a nice touch. Breakfast bar was very basic with cereals, biscuits, juices, coffees but it was very clean and well tended.
This was a Comfort Inn til a few months ago. They are upgrading everything (new carpet, paint, beds, furniture, etc). They just completed the 7th floor at the end of Dec. 2007 and it was lovely and they are continuing to do the rest of the building. So their was a sign that there will be noise form 9-5pm but we were on the second floor and never heard anything. Request one of the newer lovely rooms.
If you arrive late and want food their is a Subway chain next door.
They were having some trouble with the elevator the morning we departed so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs which was not a problem for us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. It was conveniently located just a block away from the beach. The breakfast in the morning was really good too, much better than just continental. It was a little pricy for a Comfort Inn, but that's the price you pay for location. i would stay here again.
