Excellent Place and Staff

The staff at this hotel was the best we have experienced. We had a group of 16 - 16 year old soccer boys and their families. We played soccer at a nearby complex and was rained out due to the terential rainfalls. We went back to the hotel, after we had checked out and they allowed us to use a room to clean the boys up and the use of their complimentary laundry service. We invaded their lobby with wet boys and their soccer bags. They greeted us with smiles, asked if they could do anyting for us and provided plastic bags for our wet and dirty items that would be laundered later at home. They were extremely accommodating and made this unpleasant situation pleasant for us allowing us to gather together as a team, gathering our wits without losing theirs -- and all with a smile and a gester of help. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. We hope to see you again in the future! You're awesome!

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was very nice. It was nice having two tv sets in the room so my wife could watch her stuff while I watched football. Our room also had a fridge, microwave, and a small kitchen sink. Basically like a small apartment. One of the staff got off the elevator at our floor and held the door open for me to exit it with our baby in his car seat. I thought that was pretty good service. This place is also located close to all kinds of restaurants so at the end of the day you don't have to drive up and down I-40 looking for dinner. Next time I go to Memphis I will be staying here.

Went here 8/18/07 for a weekend getaway. Selected this hotel because it was a Marriot and was near the Wolfchase Mall and several other attractions, The room had cookie crumbs on the couch when we arrived and smelled a little musty. The room next door had a problem with the toilet and we could hear water running all night. The staff fixed it once but it started again later. The bathroom had been remodeled and was don very cheapley. Would not stay here again.

They compare themselves to like priced hotels.We stayed at Embessy In Huntsville AL and it was same price but 100% better in every respect. The cleaning service didn't clean room just made the bed. Mold on ceiling in bath, shelves falling off walls, carpet not swept, bathtub drains very slow and they are not 25% larger than same priced rooms. Would not recommend.
