Convention support was great, and we had a good experience. Tough to handle when several groups are in the same ballroom area, but that can't be avoided sometimes.

Visited D.C. on a weekend getaway with family and I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Crystal City. I would recommend the hotel and when I revisit the D.C. area I plan on staying at this hotel again. Courtesy van took visitors directly to the metro which is in walkind distance from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Complimentary breakfast buffet was great as well. My only issue was parking, hotel parking is valet only and $23/day. We ended up parking across the street in a government parking lot and had no problem, parked car for 2 day is in the lot and only paid $20.

We visited during an off-season weekend on a "getaway" package. The room was very nicely decorated, quiet, comfortable and clean. Everything felt new. The staff at the main desk was alert and responsive. There was a minor glitch with my check-in using their "Self Check-In" kiosk that the staff corrected quickly and efficiently. There was also a problem with my doing a "self-check-out," but again, the desk staff helped quickly and easily.

I arrived late at night after a long drive, chek-in was quick, rooms were excellent, continental breakfast buffet was outstanding, excellent service at the dinning room, very friendly personnel. Ajacent affordable self and safe parking right behind the hotel. Hotel courtesy transportation to Washington, DC Metro station worked excellent for the purpose of traveling onboard the metro to visit the different monuments and the White House. At the end of the day took the metro back to Crystal City Metro Station, took courtesy transportation back to the hotel it worke excellent.
