Hotel was very nice and had glass elevators, very clean inside. within walking distance to other restaurants if you don't want to have dinner at the hotel. Room service breakfast was very good . Only thing that was a bother was there was some kind of meeting where there were alot of motorcylce riders, they were very nice people but hung out in groups and smoked up the place real bad, constant smoking in the bar, which was close to the lobby and constant smoking in front of the entrance, It REEKED of smoke. but not the fault of the hotel. Just way to many smoking in one place that you had to hold your breath and wash your hair all over again. I would definetly stay there again,

This is largely a business hotel with small but clean and quiet rooms. It is about 8 blocks from the maiin area of Crystal City, requiring the use of the free hotel shuttle to reach area dining and the Metro. On site parking is valet only and costs * a day. Amenities are minimal and staff were professional but not friendly.

My wife and I searched several hotels (reading reviews, rates, etc.) and happened upon the Hyatt Regency-Crystal City. I must say, we had a fantastic time. The room was very modern, the bed is incredible, and the location and proximity to D.C. was excellent. The free shuttle service (every 15 minutes) to the Crystal City Metro station was super convenient. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly (especially the bartenders), and the rate was definitely fair for such a great place. Would highly recommend!!!

Bring extra socks to wear around the hotel room!! The carpet in our room was dirty and never vacuumed! Bring AJAX! The tub had some serious soap scum left over from previous guests! Bring Windex! The windows and glass top desk/tables had stains and fingerprints all over them even after the room had been serviced! Bring your own work out room! The entrance was blocked off during the day due to meetings...and the pool wasn't opened as promised. Bring ear plugs! You can hear other guests going to the bathroom and their conversations plain as day in your room. The only redeeming aspect of the hotel was the delightful staff at the Cinnabar restaurant. They were fabulous! I would prefer to sleep in my car on a bed of nails than to stay here again.

Convention support was great, and we had a good experience. Tough to handle when several groups are in the same ballroom area, but that can't be avoided sometimes.
