Nice hotel, clean, and staff helpful and friendly. Pool was cloudy due to a few hundred teenagers on a field trip for the weekend and somewhat out of control. Management worked with us and gave us a room where we would be least disturbed. I would stay again due to the cooperative nature of the staff. Location is good, but not near metro but will shuttle you to nearest

My husband and I went to Washington DC for the very first time for our 1 year anniversary and the staff was so friendly and professional. The rooms were beautiful and clean and very comfy! The bed felt so comfortable that I forgot I was sleeping in a hotel. They have a shuttle to the airport and to the metro station and is in walking distance of the metro. They have a wonderful bar to go to relax at night. The only complaint I have is the pool was not open due to construction. The town is very cute too.

Overall it was very nice and an excellent hotel. However, the business center wanted a $10 minimum for use of the computer (at .80 per min.), which is outrageous. The other thing that was a little irritating was that the first day Room Service called at 7:30 am to ask me why I hadn't filled out the RS card, and that they had no idea what to bring me for breakfast. (They woke me up!) Excuse me? I never order room service, had not asked about it, had not seen a card, and so forth. Thankfully, they didn't call the second morning.
But--still a very good experience.

The staff carried out their duties with a smile. The room was clean and nicely appointed. For the money a very nice deal. The only draw back was parking. You were forced to pay 25 bucks a day to park and that can add up quickly.
Hotel was GREAT ...... HOWEVER....

The Hotel in general was GREAT. Close to the airport, metro, etc. I lived in Fairfax for a number of years, and come back to visit often, I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and Crystal City. We had a few meetings scheduled, and we told everyone lets just meet at the hotel. When we chose this hotel it advertised a discount on all the meals during our stay, we even got a coupon for 50% off all meals for the entire length of our stay - but 2 hours after we checked in and went to the restaurant to discover all the restaurants except the bar were closed for a few days. This was on a Friday evening. Seems like the staff and the front desk should have known. MAKES ONE WONDER WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS..........
