The Suites at Eastern Slope Inn

Best Things Nearby:
These timeshares put you right on the main street of North Conway Village, one of the most attractive, and active, tourist towns in the White Mountains. The area is especially known for its cross-country skiing opportunities. The public outdoor ice skating rink is just across the street.

Best Things About the Resort:
These units are newer than the timeshares in the Eastern Slope Inn itself, and far larger, but lack the charm. They share the Eastern Slope's superlative location, in the heart of the action in North Conway.

Resort Experience:
Recently built, these timeshares offer quality amenities and lots of floorspace. The larger units are quite luxurious, with big screen TVs, even a large, two-person Jacuzzi in the bedroom.

Guests at the Suites have full use of the Eastern Slope's amenities, including the huge indoor pool and Jacuzzi. However, the Suites themselves have no separate activities or amenities.

Best Things About the Resort:
The two-bedroom unit was huge. I would actually consider it to be a three-bedroom because it had a lock-off downstairs that had exactly the same things in it on the other side (kitchen, bathroom, tv, table, wall bed, pull-out couch) and a mini suite upstairs (jacuzzi, bathroom, small refrigerator, king-size bed, pull-out couch). All three sections had balconies.

Resort Experience:
It it located in the White Mountains and it is beautiful and very relaxing. The outside of the Inn looks like a house you would see on a plantation with columns and all! Available onsite were tennis, volleyball, BBQ grills, indoor swimming and jacuzzi, movie rentals for the VCRs in each unit and a sporting store.

The only problem I had with the unit was that there were no dresser drawers to put your clothes if you wanted to unpack besides one little three-drawer one. The closet was the only place to store you clothes. The units are very spacious so they can accommodate dressers and still have plenty of space.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. I had no problems with check-in or check-out.

I would recommend visiting StoryLand if you have children and also visiting the many shopping outlets in the area.

The Eastern Slope is located in the heart of North Conway, a charming village with many dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The Conway Scenic Railroad station is just two blocks away and makes regular trips into the White Mountains and Crawford Notch. During the summer months, a fine theater group presents plays just next door.

Best Things About the Resort:
We liked the historic feel of this landmark hotel and its convenient location, which let us walk to restaurants and shops. We got all our Christmas shopping done in no time.

Resort Experience:
Once a luxurious summer hotel, the Eastern Slope is a historic property converted to timeshare units. With that in mind, give the antique elevator some slack--it's pretty hard to wheel one of those luggage racks in.

Our studio was quite small, but cleverly furnished with two beds (one double, one single) that dropped down from the walls, and miniature everything. Off the lobby, a large enclosed pool and jacuzzi are available for guests, and very nicely maintained. We liked the "secret stair" we found from our upstairs corridor directly to the pool.

Best Things Nearby:
Resort is right on Main Street, yet set back enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. Near outlet stores, Storyland, Attitash, Conway Scenic Railroad, and the lower falls of the Kangamangus highway.

Best Things About the Resort:
Close to everything in North Conway and had an on-site restaurant and specialty coffee house.

Resort Experience:
Even though I confirmed the exchange with Eastern Slope Inn, they assigned me one of the newer suites in the Carriage House Suites. Downstairs had a living area with TV/VCR, full kitchen (except oven), and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The living area had a pull down Murphy bed and a pull out sofa. Upstairs had a king size bed, pullout sofa, a huge TV (must have been 52"), a full bathroom, and a Jacuzzi tub next to the bed. It also had a full bathroom upstairs with shower. There was also a mini-kitchen with frig, sink, and coffee pot. Also both floors had a small balcony to access.

long indoor pool hours(+whirlpool) 10am-11pm all year long

Resort Experience:
Older hotel turned into condo units. In the summer, they have a small playhouse/theatre. central location near shopping outlets (l.l.bean,dansk,harry and david,lennox crystal) and also near the white mountains. Minutes from the famous Kankamagus highway (cuts through the mountains along the swift river, very picturesque). 30 minutes or so from Lake Winnepesauke.
