The suite was very clean and pretty new inside. The bathroom was very large, with a Jacuzzi tub and two sinks, along with a closet. You could live here with no problem for a few weeks if you wanted to. The TV was very large, and you could get all TV stations.
The inn has a very large pool and hot tub. There is also a hot tub outside. The exercise room has two treadmills, a stair-stepper, and weights, and it was a very nice touch. They also have a movie room where movies are shown a couple nights a week. There is a restaurant attached to the inn call Flatbreads, which is wonderful, and it has a coffee shop. I would definitely go back to this resort again.

The ESI has two kinds of timeshare units. First are the old inn rooms, which are quaint but small. Second are the new carriage house units behind the inn, which are beautiful and BIG.
The inn has everything you could want:
1.Eastern Mountain Sports store 2.Video vending machine 3.GREAT brick-oven flatbread pizza place 4.Indoor swimming pool 5.Ice cream and coffee shop 6.Little theater in season 7.Walking distance to all sorts of restaurants and shops
Surprisingly, ESI often comes up as a "Bonus Extra Escape" in the spring and even summer. It's a bargain! It's a great place to stay if you want to take a stroll after dark, unlike the other ski resorts that are out in the middle of nowhere, or if you like to drink but don't want to drive home on a twisted mountain road, if you want to take the car but the wife wants to take herself shopping... really, you can't go wrong with the location.
The only complaint I've heard is that if kids run up and down the hallway in the inn, it can be kinda noisy, especially beneath them.

The next size up "studio" with Murphy bed (in wall) had a closet door that wouldn’t open because it was swollen shut with moisture—it needed to be planed down and we asked but got no reply.... even after 48 hours.
The proper studio with acceptable features had a toilet that had two leaks and was not fixed for over 50 hours–only after I found their sources and closely directed the Inn and the plumbers !!
The Inn has complimentary bikes, but they had flat tires and seats canted up so far only a Sumo wrestler that binds UP his loins could sit the man’s seat !! We filled the tires with air and I fixed the man’s seat, to stop getting too squinty-eyed riding the bike and walking funny after getting off the bike.
The Inn staff told us first that we would be charged $48, as a room cleaning fee out of the sticky door room to the leaking toilet room. Upon leaving they told us the fee was to upgrade from sticky to leaking!! Next time I go, I have the Forest Glenn Inn’s number, and although NOT Gold Crown, I’ll get excellent "Gemutlichtkeit."
More later when I settle down .
To come–my wife smashing her face on the main street , and the cops trying to put me in jail.
Yours from Canada,
