The drive between the resort and the town is on a very pretty lakeside winding road and we often spotted deer and mountain goats along the road on the hillside. There is a great canyon walk about 3-4km east of the resort and is apparently one of many walks in the area.
We could not fault the resort itself, but the units are layered into the hillside. It was never dificult to get to the amenities building though.

Resort is very family orientated. Lots of activites. Our girls were even asked to babysit for a nice family next door!
Beach area was nice and had 2 water trampolines primarily used by the older kids. The younger ones were happy to build castles in the sand and splash around the waters edge. Beach chairs not plentiful.

The lodge is fairly new (the old hotel that used to stand here burned down and they rebuilt a beautiful new building) and has views from all balconies. We stayed in one of the larger apartments, which had two bedrooms (with wonderful down comforters), bathroom and a large sitting/dining area with a small kitchen. It was spacious and charming.
The food is great! All kinds of Austrian specialties, freshly prepared with fine ingredients.
