Chose this hotel as it was reasonable, close to the casino and had a hot tub, pool and breakfast.
Supposedly "renovated in 2008", but was worn and old. The jacuzzi and pool water were murkey. Hot tub was cold and pool was freezing. Didn't go in either, and was disappointed. Tiles missing from baseboard in bathroom, hallways didn't smell fresh. After changing remotes with the front desk 4 times, ours still didn't work.
Plusses: Bed was comfortable, newer tub/shower was nice, staff was nice. breakfast was ok, cost was reasonable for a hotel these days. Will try someplace else next time.
We would never stay at this hotel again

We decided to stay at this hotel due to its proximity to Mohegan Sun and for the complimentary shuttle they offered to the casino. We checked in fairly quickly. Once we arrived in the room, we noticed that the bed wasn't made properly. We also noticed that the TV did not have a remote. When I called guest services they sent an Engineer up to the room who was able to program the remote. About 3 minutes later, we hear a knock at the door. When I opened the door, one of the room attendants apologized for inconveniencing us, but her manager told her that there was a stack of towels placed under our bed. After she checked under the bed, she saw the towels, picked them up and left. Later on that night, when I turned the one of the table lamps on, it proceeded to spark. When it was time to take a shower, we noticed that we were missing toiletries, so we called down to guest services and they gave us what was missing. We also noticed that there was a dirty, used washcloth inside the bathtub. The two most pleasant experiences we had in the hotel were the complimentary shuttle and the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable; probably the most comfortable hotel bed we ever slept on. We were so turned off by the chain of events for our one night stay that we did not partake in the complimentary breakfast. Would we stay there again? The answer is absolutely not.
Condition and cleanliness of rooms was horrid

There was food left in the fridge and when we opened it the whole room reeked of it. There was trash in the cans and the carpet was a mess. Even after FINALLY being given a new room, it too was in poor condition. Tissue box broken off the counter, the pull-out sagged and the mattress was nasty! The front desk staff was very little help and offered no apology. We have had reunions here before but will never stay again, it went downhill badly!

We stay here once or twice a year and always have a good experience. Reliable shuttle to Mohegan Sun with coupons for buffet and a free game coupon. Rooms are spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast is really good and the lounge is homey and a fun experience. Overall a great place to stay.
