Food at pool bar was great,Pool was very nice also had excellant pools for little toddlers.
Room was a Suite we stayed in so it was very roomy and very nice

The room you see pictured in the internet add is not the room we got. Tub didn't drain, toilet seat broken, floors filthy, no robe in room, very small. What I would have expected at a budget inn for 3 times the cost.
Ft. Myers Beach Vacation

We've driven through Ft. Myers Beach in the past, and thought that it looked like a nice place to vacation. The Pink Shell turned out to be perfect for us, two adults and a teenager.The suite had two rooms, a huge bathroom, a full kitchen, and a screened in porch facing the gulf. The beach was beautiful, the weather perfect. Florida is very crowded at this time of year, so don't go in late March or early April if you want to avoid the masses. That was the only downside of the trip for me, but it wasn't unanticipated.
White Sand Villas The Best!

If you want a great resort with a superb view at the quiet end of Ft. Myers Beach, Pink Shell is the place. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite at White Sand Villas that offered everthing our group needed. The construction should all be done by now so don't worry, be happy.

We expected to stay in the main building & instead we were at the Beach Villas. Had to go outside to the main lobby etc. The beds & furniture were very uncomfortable/ We paid top dollar and did not get top accomodations. The pool was full of unsupervised kids. Very noisy. No relaxation. The food was not good at either of the restaurants. We love Ft Myers & will return but definitely not to the Pink Shell. We did not get what we paid for.
