Front Desk Very Helpful At Hojo

For the money we paid, this was a very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and well maintained. It had a coffe maker, microwave, ironing board and iron, and hair dryer in the room. It made it nice that we could bring home leftovers from a restaurant and have a way to reuse them later. We were there to search for an apartment for our daughter, who will be attending college in Tallahassee. The front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. She answered our questions about the area, gave us directions, and told us about places we might want to check out. The rooms were clean and the place was quiet. They have a small pool ,which was clean, but we had no opportunity to use it as it rained the whole time we were there. The continental breakfast was limited, but the coffee was good. We would stay there again.

Good staff, location and room. Continental breakfast needs improvement. Only toasts and muffins. Needs an elevator. We have a second floor room with a lot of luggage.
Roaches in bathroom and everywhere!

The WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. There were bugs crawling all over the room! Nasty!

This is a very nice little motel! When traveling I look for small motels that offer competitive prices and am very picky about cleanliness and overall good feel of the facility. So far the top of my list was a little restored roadside motel in Concord, NC. After my stay in this HoJo I am not sure which one gets top billing. This is a very unique motel in that the place is so clean and the rooms are large, everything in the room worked fine and the place just has a great overall feel. Three beautiful Oak trees offer shaded parking unlike so many stark parking lots of other motels. Parking is good and right in front of the room. Lots of light for security at night. Security was a main concern for us because of all the Christmas gifts we had to leave in the car. Oh, one more thing...the bed was so comfortable I am going to replace my bed at home with one like the motel used. Good pillows as well....We loved this place!

The hotel is clean and in a great spot, right off I-10. They serve a quick breakfast in the morning and the staff was very nice. Great value for the price!
