My reservations were made and confirmed for a king bed,but was changed to 2 double beds. They said there was no quarantee for room types. The decor was very bad and several things were missing or broken including no batteries in one remote,no top to ice bucket and lamp not working. I am the type person who stays quiet but just could not thiis time because someone else might make the same mistake i made. there are too many nice places to stay in Myrtle Beach than stay here.

paid for a ocean front room, got a parking lot , had to meet w/ a manager(?)to get it right , front desk could have cared less, hotel had booked a family reunion and must have put them all on a different floor to help entertian them with the slow elevators, the room was clean but had a musty smell

The front desk was very helpful. The pool was in good condition but the hot tub jets weren't working right. It was a little taxing having sepatate elevator for parking garage. The room was ok but did have a problem with tv not working. A man came up to fix it right away.We also left a dvd there because of the tv problem. They mailed it to us after we called to report it.The man running the restaurant was very nice and friendly. This was first time that I booked vacation over the internet and I was happy with the results and would stay here again.

A room on the beach - No service

The plus side, we found our room to be clean and nicely appointed. The Beach right out the door was what attracted us to this hotel at this price. It came as a surprise to us to not be allowed to sign for any food or beverage to be charged to our room. This required having to carry money to the beach and paying for everything with wet money. The outside bar had very limited hours, the restaurant hours were very limited. We had to order food to be delivered from off site by 8:30 on a Friday night. The hotel was very busy taxing the elevators. This was compounded by one of the 4 elevators being for strictly for employee use. Which would have been fine if they would have used it but I spent many trips up and down in the elevator with a laundry cart or the maid and a cleaning cart. This is a clean room on the Beach - not a resort.

Decent Stay

Our room in the hotel was nice. I could tell they had modern furniture, down comforter on the bed, flat screen t.v with movie options, microwave, and mini fridge. As far as the rest of the hotel, the staff could be more friendly and better explain the facilities. Don't count on eating at the hotel. The website says there is a restaurant but all we found was a drink bar. The pool is small and gets completely shaded by 3:00 but the beach is very close.
