The room was very charming. It was freshly painted and the decor was nicely done. The beds were quite comfy and they had a nice coffee set up. The view of the Battleship was fabulous! We dined on premise and while the food was good I thought the prices were a bit high. There are two choices just down the road and Dauphin is just over the bridge if you would like more choices.

Great location next to the Battleship and on the water. Natural setting, quiet, relaxed and family oriented. Super big screen tv that both us and the kids enjoyed. Restaurant is being renovated and it was a bit of a hassle getting in and out, but we ordered room service for breakfast and got the food fast and it was large portions. Got to say the prices were kinda large also. They could maybe have smaller portions and lower prices. Breakfast was overwhelming!

Great for a one nighter!

The hotel itself is in good condition. The rooms were nice. House Keeping needs improvement. A dryer was broken so we couldn't get extra towels. The restaurant across from the hotel was in poor condition and too pricey.

This was a beautiful hotel! They had just remodeled and it was out of this world. We really enjoyed the restaurant, the food was great and the pictures and memorabilia was outstanding. My kids enjoyed the pool and the big screen tv in the room. The tv was better than the one we have at home and the DVD player was nice for the kids to play games and occupy their time. Overall the place was more than we could ask for and nothing like the other review I read. I tghink the other review must have stayed elsewhere...this was like home, but better!

Mislead

This place was badly damaged by Katrina and we were lead to believe it was fully functional, up and running with available room but ours occupied. What we got was a ghost town. It seems that the only other occupants were construction workers who were working on the hotel. Ours was the only car in the lot for the whole weekend and I watched a drug deal go down in the parking lot at 2 am on the last night of our stay. Felt completely unsafe. On the plus side, the room was fine, view was great and I'm sure once it's fully functional it will be better.
