OUTSTANDING ACCOMOIDATIONS

Staff was very helpful. We lacked nothing in comfort. We were upgraded at no charge. Location excellent, walking distance to restaurants and shopping center. Looking forward to our next stay here.
Great Service and Great Locale

I want to commend the staff for their pleasantness and desire to please their guests.
We needed a handicap room for the night to accommodate for my wife's upcoming spine surgery
near Uptown Charlotte. We wanted a comfortable room on a quiet corridor with everything accessible for one in great pain and a bit of anxiety. The hotel was perfect for this as it was quiet, even with a large group of high school students on a field trip. The breakfast area was clean and tidy, even after heavy use. The pool was a great temperature and clean. The crew of the hotel greeted my wife and I with smiles and readiness to help with whatever. Furthermore, you can walk in less than 5 minutes to a great mall. Though walking and shopping was not the purpose we stayed, i would highly recommend the hotel for its proximity to the mall and proximity to Uptown Charlotte but in a quieter, newly built section of town.
Hotel Disaster

The hotel was entertaining a "Little League Hockey Tournament" during the Valentines Day Weekend (??) as a result it had about 200 youngster between 5 and 17 running throughout the hotel, trashing, making noise, debries in the hallways, elevators, etc. I was not able to take advantage of the ammenities, get any rest, relax or feel comfortable during my stay.
I complained to the hotel but was told I must direct my complaint to the online Travel website who booked the reservation. I should be reimbursed for this portion of my trip.
