Beautiful Small Resort for Couples

My husband and I really enjoyed the Aura! The resort was immaculate, service was friendly and fast, and the property was a great value for the price. We liked the fact that this is a small property-- much quieter than some of the "super" all-inclusive resorts we've been to previously. The only downside to its size were limitations at dinner time, with only two restaurants from which to choose (one of which is at a sister property next door). We actually went off property one evening for dinner just for a change. Food on property was very good, though, and we had great meals every day. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, with a comfy pillow-top bed and flat panel TV. Two pools to choose from, where my only complaint was a lack of pool "floaties"-- there were only 3 for the entire resort and I think those came from somewhere else! Overall, a great experience and we would stay at this hotel again.

Everything was amazing.... My fiance and I went there to see if we would like to do a desination wedding, and we loved it and met with the wedding planner while we ere there. It is definatly worth the price, even though its not that much.
Quiet and Relaxing at great location away from Cruiseships!

We stayed at the Wyndham Aura during the midst of spring break period 2009. I was very pleased with the adults only aspect of the resort. There was the occasional teenager from the sister resorts walking through, but they were well behaved and quiet. I think one teenager somehow managed to stay at the resort with her parents, but she seemed very mature and did not cause any disturbance.
The food was slightly above average, but nothing that I would write home about. Drinks were hit or miss. They typically go light on the alcohol in the drinks, however if you request more and/or perhaps give a generous tip to the bartender they are more than happy to tip the bottle a little bit more. There was one evening after dinner where guests wandered over to the lounge. the wait staff from the restaurant brought wine over after the dinner shift and made sure your glass wasn't empty. The wine was just above average as well. I would guess they would be maybe $20 - $30 per bottle in the US.
The rooms were nice an spacious as described. The beds were very plush to the point they were almost too soft (personal preference I guess). My only complaint is that they advertise having a Bose sound system with I-pod dock. I excitingly downloaded new music before my trip thinking I would have a great sound system to relax to in our room while there. When we arrived, the room had an Audiovox clock/radio with an I-pod docking system (far from a Bose sound system). Nonetheless, my intent of the vacation wasn't to sit in the room and listen to music all week. I do have a pet peeve about hotels/resorts advertising things that are not actually standard in rooms.
All in all, WoW........

This place is amazing with great people and great service. I have to say the hotel has the best room service and people are very nice, friendly, and with great attitude. Food is Good, but will get tired of it if you eat same thing everyday. WIFI issues in hotel rooms is the only thing I would complaint about. Otherwise, very nice hotel to have perfect vacation.
Great experience

My friend and I just got back from a 10-day trip to this resort. It was absolutely perfect. Great weather, resort staff were very pleasant and the beach is breath-taking. The diving was easy and beautiful. This was my first trip to Mexico and I have to say it was amazing. I will be back. I'd recommend it to anyone.
