nice, but...

Good first impression - easy to get to from airport, clean lobby, friendly staff, updated room (nice flat screen t.v.). I guess I should have been suspicious of the gift bag on the bed with ear plugs, eye mask, and complimentary 'sleep soundly' audio disk. The room, even on the 14th floor, was very noisy. Not just from the occasional train but also lots of traffic noise. I couldn't figure out why I could hear the folks in the next room so clearly - then I got down on my hands and knees and realized I could actually SEE through the floor level air vent into my neighbors room. Actually saw feet about 6 feet away through the duct work. Nothing on either end but a metal grate. If I weighed 30 lbs less I could have crawled over to say hello... The only real issue, however, is the following: THERE IS NO FAN, VENT, OR WINDOW IN THE BATHROOM! I realize this doesn't seem like much while you're sitting here reading this but... trust me... it might just be an issue on your vacation with that "special someone" (I knew I shouldn't have had that Mexican food during my Chicago layover...). Seriously, you have to leave the bathroom door open when showering or it steams up so much you can't find your towel. Overall, a nice, if maybe a little embarrassing, stay. Bring your sense of humor.

This is a beautiful hotel. We have stayed here on several occasions and are always pleased. Any little issue we've ever had has always been addressed by the front desk. Rooms are very comfortable and the beds are great.

Best hotel in Billings

The hotel is obviously newly renovated and looks lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable, and all of our needs were met. The only word of caution is to light sleepers: the hotel is one block away from heavily-used railroad tracks, and train horns are definitely audible from south-facing rooms.

Used as airport layover

We flew into Billings at the start of our vacation and then returned to Billings for our flight home. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport and the historical section of Billings. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Several sitting areas in the lobby area and a Starbucks on premise made it an ideal spot to meet our traveling buddies. Our room had a King-sized bed and was very roomy, clean and well decorated. Nice amenties in the bathroom. The restaurant service for breakfast was a bit slow and somewhat expensive. Within walking distance of some great restaurants (Jake's is highly recommended) , the Saturday Farmer's Market was also a treat. Ten minutes to the airport. We would definitely use this hotel again for any future trips to the area.

Although stayed only one night and on a lower floor, we had a great moderately upscale room for a great price. Nice bathroom and very spacious room. Renovated so cannot tell it is an older building. Convenient to airport and downtown restaurants. Try Juliano's, exceptional restaurant just a mile or so away.
