Best Things Nearby:
Medieval Times, Waccamaw Outlet Shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
Has its own clubhouse with indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Also has a lazy river and kids pool with mushroom waterfall.

Resort Experience:
Had a great time and ended up getting a great deal on a timeshare with points. Funny thing that happenned was we left the kids and mother-in-law (74 years old) at the beach to play games while we went to the timeshare presentation not expecting to buy, but about three hours later we picked them up after buying the timeshare. They were tired and hot as it was 100 degrees that day and we told them we would be back in 30 minutes . . . oops. But they were ok after we went to Medieval Times and watched the show and feasted on all the great food. Medieval times is about 200 yards from the condo at Harbour Lights.

Best Things Nearby:
Medieval Times dinner show. The Atlantic Beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
The warm indoor pool and whirlpool. Clean comfortable units.

Resort Experience:
It's a great distance from Charlotte, NC to get away for a few days. We really enjoy going to Harbour Lights several times each year. The staff is very helpful. The indoor pool and whirlpool are always very warm and well maintained.

Luxury hotel in 16th century monastery founded by the Knights of Santiago. It has fantastic public rooms, and most bedrooms are of good quality but in a modern extension. There are some bedrooms in the old part, but you'll have to book early for these. Lovely bar and I think the restaurant was good too, but I had a little to drink by then. Front desk staff are snooty with pilgrims like us who come in dusty from a 90km ride from Carrion de los Condes. Fantastic facade.
