Overnight Staunton Stay

Fairly good place to stay. Maybe a bit hard to find w/o downtown Staunton knowledge or GPS. Very close to a lot of attracations. One big drawback to the room was the AC/Heat unit. It had no auto setting which means the unit will always be on or off. ...Read more

My wife and I stayed one night to go to Blackfriars. I liked it okay, but my wife didn't. The place is shopworn, and my continental breakfast had a hair in it. The staff is friendly and tries hard, but we won't be staying there again.

Hotel was good for an over-night stay. The price was certainly good. We found the hotel with out GPS as it is in the middle of town. I would use again over-night.

There a lot of nice B&Bs in Staunton; I have stayed in several and will again. But when I travel and want a decent, simple, good value place to stay, it's hard to beat this Howard Johnsons.

Not a bad place at all. Certainly not a Hilton or Marriott, but def. worth it for the cheap price. Clean room, GREAT breakfast. Friendly staff. Also an excellent view of historical downtown from the balcony.

From the outside the place seems decent however the inside of the room was a different story. The bed was uncomfortable and had bugs in it. There were several empty 12 packs of beer outside on the walkway and a used band-aid cover the peep hole on ...Read more
