Beware of room 330

Quote: The hotel was old and the furniture showed the age but it was clean. We locked the deadbolt at night and in the morning, couldn't turn it far enough to unlock it. The manager, had to come up and unlock it with a key from the outside - yes, we were... Read the full America's Best Inns Dubuque review

Shabby

Quote: I was disappointed. The room was shabby, the chair covering was filthy, the door was thin with a crack to the outside and the bathroom door had a fist dent in it. I wouldn't recommend it.

Quote: My wife and I stayed for the weekend. It's worked very well for us. Nothing fancy, but had clean rooms, and decent hotel bar. Pool is small and outside, no other activities avia. Would not be kid friendly. We'll stay again since the price is... Read the full America's Best Inns Dubuque review

Get what you spend

Quote: We falsely understood this to have an indoor pool --- it is outdoor and was open (end of Sept) but very cold. We also were absolutely unable to get an internet connection. My husband tried late into the evening with no success. Rooms were compact.

Adequate for the price

Quote: Room was ok for the price. Ice machine on 3rd floor didn't work and I had to trek back to the front desk and then down to the first around in back for ice. The hotel is old, but everything in my room functioned. Nice to have coffee in the room and... Read the full America's Best Inns Dubuque review

Quote: We stayed at Best Inn in JUly 07 and we had a wonderful experience. Our room was clean. Room was decent for the price we paid

Disappointing

Quote: I may expect too much for the price of Room 205 - no coffee pot, no hairdryer, safety latch broken, looked unappealing in general. My daughter felt her room - 211 - was adequate - it did have the anemities our room lacked.
