I was looking for a nice quiet upscale hotel and spa. What I got was a noisy hotel full of drunkards. Unknown to me, nearly the entire hotel had been bought out by a corporate organization for the week I was there. The hotel catered to this group and essentially ignored the lone traveler like myself. I had difficult time getting service at the bar and restaurant, the pool was overcrowded, and the beach chairs and cabanas reserved for the corporation. Worst yet, the appointments for the spa had been bought out. The reputation of the spa was one of my deciding factors for choosing the hotel. Needless to say, disappointing.
While the rooms were overall very nice and the view of the ocean was fabulous, I feel that that I could have spent much less money for the same ammenities elsewhere on the beach.

Very nicely appointed room in a very safe area of Daytona on a peaceful area of the beach. The quality of service is unbelievable... had the hotel been a Hotel Six with the same staff, I would have still felt like a princess. Pictures on their site accurately depict accomodations but understate the beauty of the area. I am not sure that I would take an entire family, including several children, to this resort as the typical microwave/refrigerator etc are absent but I didn't miss them a bit... I have traveled extensively, world wide, during my career and have never had a better stay
I cannot wait to go again and again.

We stayed there for one night while we were on our trip. It was terrific. We had an ocean view with balcony. The boardwalk and band shell were visible from the balcony too. The rooms had the most comfortable beds and linens we had experienced in quite some time. The staff were very attentive and gracious. The fifth floor outdoor pool area was kept in pristine condition. The spa area looked to be first class. I wish I had the time to have taken advantage of it all. Our family highly recommends this resort!

Hotel played a classic bait and switch. Asked for a beach front room with king size bed and balcony. Got a beach front room with 2 double beds and no balcony. After complaining they switched me over to the appropriate room on the next day. Parking lot is across the street from hotel. The hotel is luxurious , excellent staff and nice rooms. Don't understand why the clothes closet is in the bathroom.
