This is the best service and place we have ever stayed at. They service is second to none. They keep their hotel in impeccable condition. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. The only problem I had was the outrageous prices they had on their in room service but the service makes up for all of that

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday with a 3 night stay at Singer Island Resort. Other than checking out their website and reading some positive reviews on a online travel agency, I didn't know what to expect. I was extremely pleased!! I have stayed in many upscale resorts and this one ranked right up there with the best of them! We stayed in a fabulous two-bedroom suite overlooking the ocean and Intracoastal. We made ourselves at home by stocking up the kitchen which was fully equipped. The front desk was quick to grant us early check-in and late check out which maximized our vacation. The beaches are quite eroded (don't go by the photo on the website), but the water was beautiful! And the staff was great. I only live about an hour away and will absolutely book another stay in the near future. Be aware: They gave us a so-called upgrade to what they call an oceanfront view, but that is actually misleading as the ocean was not directly in front, unless you book the presidential suite, there are no true "oceanfront" suites - we overlooked a park/condos, but once I got beyond the initial shock & disappointment, i will say the view from the balcony was incredible as it gave you a view of the entire barrier island. They will try to get you for little extras once on property - for instance, they deliver the paper every morning, but they charge you for it. And the parking was quite expensive, no self park options. TIP: There is a park next door to the property that offers free parking (no overnight) We had some friends come up and visit for the day and had them all park there to avoid the pricey cost to park.

Not Worth the Money

The room was very nice along with the resort. We were missing the coffee pot in our room and it seems the maid folded our dirty towels and put them back on shelf. The description on the website describes one of the pools as being for adults only, that is not true. There is nothing to do on Singer Island and the island itself is an eye sore. There is a vacant lot right next door to the resort. We were told by our driver to stay on the resort and not to wander around. The restaurant is over priced, but the food is good. If you want a beach chair, you have to pay for it. I don't think we would go back to this resort, considering there is no night life or shopping here. This is more for a family or couples who just want to relax, not for younger people who like to dance and go out.

Beautiful Resort!

Beautiful rooms, great location, wonderful dining. The Resort was not at all crowded at the time of our visit. I look forward to going back.

Beautiful property, mediocre staff

This beachfront property is absolutely beautiful with an infinity pool and large second pool with a waterslide for children. We booked a two bedroom suite that included a kitchen and two bathrooms. The view was great. The surroundings exceeded what we expected for the price we paid. However, the service we received was uneven or poor across the board. Housekeeping often didn't vacuum (sand-yuk), ran the dishwasher without soap, or didn't clean the bathroom. Room service sent up incorrect orders or inedible food (obviously sitting around from earlier in the day). One day at the pool when umbrellas were at a premium, the pool guy took away the one we were just about to open and said he needed it for himself because the sun was too hot-there were no others available so we had to leave. There was incident afer incident of this nature throughout our entire stay. Since it didn't seem isolated to a single department, our best guess is that the management's focus is not on customer service. Anyway, we will wait a bit and return to see if service improves. The property is too great a bargan to give up on it.
