Good value for the money

Quote: A neat place to stay. A historic hotel with very courteous staff. The room itself was okay...nothing special but nothing glaringly missing. However, worth the cost of the hotel. There were nice amenities such as complimentary wine/happy hour in the... Read the full Riverwalk Vista Inn review

Great value next to the riverwalk

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 5, 2011
Quote: The hotel is situated near everything you want to do in Downtown San Antonio. The service was great and the rooms made the most of it's 19th century building. I recommend this hotel if you don't need a bar and pool to be happy.

A real gem!

Quote: From the moment we walked in the door and saw the antiques, the original flooring, high ceilings and exposed brick walls, we knew we had found a very special placce. We'd consider it an upscale B & B right in the middle of the Riverwalk! The bed... Read the full Riverwalk Vista Inn review

Unhelpful Staff

Quote: I could say more, but I'll leave it at this: the transient I stepped over to get into the building was more accommodating than the staff.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever

Quote: This hotel is lacking in almost every way. The worse thing, however, is the staff's rudeness. When problems arose, they were not accommodating and in fact they behaved very put-out. The first room they tried to put us in smelled like urine. We... Read the full Riverwalk Vista Inn review

Charming Gem in Historic Building

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • September 9, 2007
Quote: Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city, steps (literally) from the famous Riverwalk. Lots of nice little touches, like the complimentary wine in the evening, and the collection of antique quilts. The street noise (price you pay for being handy to... The Riverwalk Vista Inn
